all 5 page site maps

We have decided who was going to create which sites. All of the members in the group have to make a homepage or index page as it’s required. However all the other pages are all different and we all know who is doing what.

Toms pages include:

  1. Homepage (New products logo etc…) – Tom
  2. Product Page (hard and soft suitcases) - Tom
  3. Registration Page - Tom
  4. Contact Us - Tom
  5. My account (editing account information such as address, name etc…) - Tom

Anthonys pages include:

  1. Homepage (New products logo etc…) – Anthony
  2. Log in page - Anthony
  3. Accessories - Anthony
  4. Information on the business- Anthony
  5. Ordering help (ways to shop – online or by phone, methods of payment – visa, MasterCard, comments and complaints ) - Anthony

and my pages include:

  1. Homepage (New products logo etc…) –Adam
  2. Checkout page- Adam
  3. Terms of conditions - Adam
  4. Offers Page (Products on sale etc…) - Adam
  5. Frequently asked questions - Adam

project plan was altered

I had to change my first original five pages because I had to have a page in which the customer could enter something in.  As one of the members of the group (Anthony) had a lot of those pages I decided to change my information of the business page for the checkout page. Both Anthony and I agreed, and we also told the other member of the group Tom.

So my final pages contest of Homepage, terms and condition, offers page(product page) and FAQ.

monitoring the progress

Within the group with have had some discussions on things we are doing together and individually.  At the moments we all should be designing independently a project specification that takes into account the needs of the stakeholder; we will show evidence of this by individual group member project.

On the project specification I will be clearly pointing out the dates in which the project will be finishing adding the earliest time it could finish and at the latest time.

design a website - site maps

navigation

I have designed the hierarchy table of the pages I will be designing the website in unit 21.
This hierarchy shows me that all pages (checkout page, terms of conditions, offers page and FAQ) are linked to the homepage, so that when the user is on the homepage they should be able to navigate to any of the pages.
